Our cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website transfers and stores in a computer's browser directory. They help site providers understand how visitors use a site, remember a user's login details and store site preferences (e.g. language).

There are several types of cookies, for example:

  • Internal cookies : These cookies are placed and read by Particeep directly when you use our sites, to ensure an optimised experience, such as storing your information in a subscription path.
  • Third party cookies : These cookies are not placed by Particeep, but by other companies, such as Stripe, for payment purposes. Access more details about these cookies by reading on.
  • Length of use : Not all cookies have the same lifespan. A distinction is made between those that exist only as long as your browser is open (so-called "session" duration). These are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser. Other cookies are "permanent cookies", i.e. they survive after you close your browser. For example, they recognise your device when you open your browser and browse the internet again.

Why does Particeep use cookies?

Particeep uses the information provided by cookies for security purposes; to facilitate navigation; to display information more effectively; to personalise your experience when using our sites.

We also collect statistical information about the use of our sites in order to improve their design and functionality; to understand how they are used; and to help us resolve issues relating to them. Finally some cookies are used for payment or document signature purposes.
